We understand that privacy online is important to most users of our Site, especially when conducting business. This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those concerned with how their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is being used online. This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to those users of the Site who visit without transacting business, visitors who register to learn more about the Site (Subscribers), and visitors who transact business on the Site (Customers and Members) and make use of the various services offered by (“Services”). Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.


“Personally Identifiable Information” (PII)
refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains, including, but not limited to, name, postal mail address, phone number, email address, financial profiles, and I.P. address information. Personally Identifiable Information does not include information collected anonymously (that is, without identification of the individual user) or demographic information not connected to an identified individual. The phrase “Personally Identifiable Information” is often abbreviated as “PII”, including in this document.


When subscribing, registering or ordering on our site, as appropriate, you are asked to enter your name, email address, country of residence, username and password, or other details to help you with your experience. When you do that, we automatically get your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address.


We collect information from you when you register as one of our members, subscribe to a newsletter, or enter other information on our site.


We use PII to customize the Site, make appropriate service offerings, to ensure that correct individuals have access to their private information, and fulfill buying, selling, prize winning, and opportunity requests. We may email Members, Subscribers, and Authorized Customers about research, or purchase and selling opportunities on the Site, or information related to the subject matter of the Site. We may also use PII to contact Members, Subscribers, and Authorized Customers in response to specific inquiries, or to provide requested information or other materials.

PII about Registered Members may be shared with other Registered Members in accordance with the traditional referrer/referral relationship (i.e. names and email addresses), subject to permission being granted by the referrer or referral whose information might be shared.

We may share aggregated information about our visitors and members, including the demographics of same with our affiliated agencies and third party vendors. Aggregated information is stripped of Personally Identifiable Information.


All of our staff members are familiar with our security policy and practices. The PII of our Members, Subscribers and Authorized Customers is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. We audit our security systems and processes on a regular basis, including with use of various website malware scanners. Sensitive information, such as one’s physical address, is protected by encryption protocols, in place to protect information sent over the Internet. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable to Members, Subscribers or Authorized Customers for any such occurrences.

An external PCI compliant payment gateway handles all CC transactions.


How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to register. make a purchase, or complete a survey, you imply and we infer that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

We also offer the opportunity to “opt out” of receiving information or being contacted by us or by any agency acting on our behalf through the deletion of one’s account with us. This can be done either through clicking the “Delete Your Account” link at the bottom of your Member Profile page if you are a registered member, by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of emails we send out to our subscribers, or by putting a request for membership and/or subscription account deletion through our “Contact Us” form for the above, and any other visitors to our site whose personal data might have been recorded, such as advertisers.

Because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to immediately delete a Member’s, Subscriber’s or Authorized Customer’s entries without retaining some residual information. An individual who clicks their “Delete Your Account” link and confirms the intent to delete, or requests of the Privacy Officer to have PII deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use PII relating to that individual in any way moving forward. For a thorough deletion of all your PII in as timely a manner as possible, use the “Contact Us” form, mention if you are or have been a subscriber, member, advertiser, or other, and request to have your “PII be thoroughly and permanently deleted” from our databases. After the initial manual deletion, this secondary and irrevocable automatic deletion process may take up to two weeks for completion.


How can Members, Subscribers and Authorized Customers correct any inaccuracies in Personally Identifiable Information?

Members may log into the members area and change personal information on their profile page. Subscribers and Authorized Customers may contact us to request a copy of their data that is processed on our site. update their PII, or correct any inaccuracies by using the “Contact Us” form.


We will disclose PII in order to comply with a court order, subpoena or request from a law enforcement agency to release information. We will also disclose PII when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our Members, Subscribers, and Authorized Customers, such as when our Terms of Service have been violated.


In general, third-party providers used by us for purposes such as website hosting and maintenance shall only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend you read their privacy policies to understand the manner in which your PII will be handled by them.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities located in a different jurisdiction than either of us. So, if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, your PII may be subject to laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway in the United States, your PII used to complete that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

E-Mails to/from Referrers/Referrals: If and when you communicate with a fellow Member or Subscriber who is your referrer or referral and elected to share select PII, i.e. name and email address, with their referrer or referral, you do so away from our site. We are not responsible for the communications that occur between individuals after their permission has been given to share the select PII and it has been released. If you have reservations about this aspect of our Privacy Policy, we recommend you not give permission to have your name or email address to be released to your referrer nor your referrals.

Cookies, Beacons and Website Analytics: We and third party service providers may use “cookies,” commonly included in browser software, to benefit you and others when using the site. Cookies are tiny software files web browsers place on hard drives for purposes of record-keeping, such as who one’s referrer to our site is. We and third party service providers may also use web beacons (AKA “clear GIFs”, “page tags”, “pixel tags”, etc.) to collect non-PII about how people use our site. With this information we may be better able to serve our current and future members with improved content, outreach, and other services.
